Library
The library is a treasure of an educational institution. The primary mission of the library is to support the educational activities of the institution by providing access to information, consistent with the present and future needs of the institute and the users.
The library in the College is housed in third floor with a spacious and well illuminated, spanning a total floor area of 200 sq mt. Library houses about 11468 books and subscriptions to over - National (13) and International (20) journals.
The Library comes with provision for stock section, circulation section and reference section with advanced computers with internet connected for information searching. The Library reading and writing space can accommodate nearly 100 students.
Separate journals and news paper section is also maintained. Back Volumes of Journals are also maintained. Thus, providing all the information and helping the students and faculty for their overall academic development and growth, our Library acts as a catalyst for turning out our students as quality engineers.
Library Working Hours : Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science for women library users can use the library for their academic and research progress during following days.
Working Days - Monday to Saturday
Timings - 09.00 am to 05.00 pm
Library Membership
All students, faculty members of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership.
Library Rules and Regulation
Books Lending:Book(s) will be issued for 7 days with renewal of 7 days. The library cards are not transferable. Student members get 3 books and staff members get 6 books.
Loss of book(s):Loss of Book(s) if any shall be reported to the librarian immediately and a new copy shall be replaced immediately. In case the borrower is unable to replace the lost book(s), value of the lost book(s) plus overdue charges, if any, will be levied.

Library Services
Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science for women Library is providing services to support for the learning and teaching process.
Internet Facility: Separate Browsing center is maintained with the support of Incable's Internet facilities and 11 separate systems for this purpose. Students can surf the net and avail the internet facility.
The Library & Information Centre has DELNET Membership enabling students and faculty members for refer to the other member libraries for additional information for their research/projects through inter library loan.
Reprographic Facility: Users can take Xerox copies of Reading material available in the library from library 'Photocopier' for nominal charges.
